This project was recorded halfway through my first year at teacher's college. Some of the songs were written while I was working on a farm in rural Quebec and living with an 80-year-old woman who smoked thirty cigarettes a day and gambled online until late at night. The rest were written in my apartment in Montreal. All of them took a long time to write.
